Unfortunately I have to disagree with you about 'The Grey'. I saw it with friends and afterwards heard people talking about how awful wolves are. Whereas someone like you is already educated about wolves enough to know that they're exaggerated, sadly others aren't. All they will see is the negative stereotype and it will further enforce their ignorance.

Hmm, you have a very fair point. My friend did make a similar comment, but I thought little of it as it wasn’t said seriously. The Director, Joe Carnahan said:

“I never intended [the wolves] to be the aggressor; I look at them as the defenders. I think these guys are in a very territorially sensitive place. [The humans] were trespassing and intruders.”

It’s all about perspective and interpretation. I will have a separate perspective than, say, my friend. Therefore, I can understand your point completely. I suppose I just had higher hopes for ‘The Grey”s audience; but I forget how influenced some can be over such media.
